Die nächste Ausgabe findet am 22. bis 25. Januar 2026 statt und die Vorbereitungen laufen schon auf Hochtouren! Die inhaltliche Ausrichtung der sechsten Ausgabe der Licht Kunst Biennale EVI LICHTUNGEN orientiert sich an dem Thema Resonanz – Licht Kunst Mensch Ort in Beziehung. Orte der Stadt treffen auf künstlerische Aussagen, gehen eine Verbindung mit ihnen ein und zeigen Unerwartetes. Zeitgenössische Kunst mit Licht als Material und Medium, die verständlich und erlebbar ist – manchmal konfrontiert, meist inspiriert. Anregende Aussagen, neue Perspektiven und ästhetische Eindrücke beleuchten die Stadt.       

        The next edition will take place from January 22 to 25, 2026, and preparations are already in full swing! The thematic focus of the sixth edition of the EVI LICHTUNGEN Light Art Biennial is guided by the concept of Resonance – Light Art Human Place in Relationship. Urban locations meet artistic statements, enter into dialogue with them, and reveal the unexpected. Contemporary art using light as both material and medium – accessible and tangible; at times confrontational, but mostly inspiring. Stimulating messages, new perspectives, and aesthetic impressions will illuminate the city.
